What GLP-1s cost in 2026 — and the cheapest legitimate path

List prices are brutal (often $1,000–$1,600/mo), but almost nobody should pay that. Here's every honest way to lower it, June 2026.

Verified June 2026

The cost ladder — try these in order

  1. Check insurance first. If your plan covers it (often with prior authorization), your copay beats every cash price. Denied? Appeal — most denials are beatable.
  2. Medicare Part D? The new GLP-1 Bridge (from July 1, 2026) can get eligible members to ~$50/mo.
  3. Medicaid? Coverage varies by state for weight loss (it's near-universal for diabetes).
  4. Manufacturer cash / savings programs. The table below — including the new $149/mo pill and $25 savings-card pricing.
  5. Never buy gray-market "research" peptides or from unverified sellers. Counterfeits are common and dangerous.
